I had a test batch of the beer at the pub, and it was a similar experience to drinking Saison du Buff - might be good with certain foods but certainly nothing i'd drink by itself

Loved this. Gin barrels and saisons just go together so well, or at least are totally in my wheelhouse because I want any and all of them on my mouth.

I'm on the look out for a gin barrel myself. Fresh I'm sure it will be amazing with Saison. Then I can use it to Solera some batches in.

This is the first time I've had anything from Green Bench, fortunately? I mean, it's not terrible. But I wouldn't call it good either. It kind of tastes as if someone took a belgian strong dark ale and watered it down with a pilsner so that it's 90% of the latter, with a hint of weird phenols.

****** photo is appropriate.

It is terrible, just admit it.

ASak10 might take any spares you have?

The only Green Bench I've had was Sauvage Blanc, their collab with Trinity, and it was fantastic. Kinda reminded me of new version Dorothy or fresh Wheat is the New Hops.

But damn, after all these poor reviews I don't think i'll be looking to try any of their other beers...
Funny, after reading all this I was hoping the Green Bench beer I sent you wasn't ****. Glad it wasn't.

Sauvage Blanc was stellar.

This was really nice, with a bit of fruitiness from the Citra. The only other Trillium saison over had is "Trillium" and it was pretty decent (though the bottle I had was a bit on the soapy side), but this was much better. Looking forward to opening the OG version of this soon.

The bottle you gave me was ******* killer. Definitely an unexpected surprise. What are their releases like? Just a mellow come and get however many you want at your leisure, or is there tight limits, lines and fast sellouts?

Im asking because I need more in my life before they fall victim to the secondary shitlord market.
Late to the show here, but if sign up for their emails a weekly summary of new beers goes in and they typically detail the saison being released. From this week's email:

New this week is Nothing But Flowers, a biere de miel - a traditional honey saison. Made with a hefty dose of Pennsylvania wildflower honey, Nothing But Flowers is slightly funky with a dry, crisp finish. Available on draft tomorrow, with bottles coming soon.

Having said that, they suck. Seriously pay no attention to them

In all seriousness I think their saisons are great and fly under the radar. I love that I can walk in there and have 2-4 available. I rarely leave without grabbing at least one.
