I never thought about it until I lived in Germany and my friends poked fun at me. I made it a point to keep the fork in my left hand for the entire meal and still do it today.

I switch hit. If it is easier to cut the meat off the bone by holding the knife in the left then left it is--- if it's easier on the right--- then I'll cut right. *shrug*
 
I think I'll just pick the meat up with my hands and tear chunks off with my canine teeth and incisors. Would you attempt to correct someone like that if you saw them in a restaurant? :)
