The Kroger on Chambers Rd in Grandview isn't too far out of your way and they always seem to have it on hand. When I was in there earlier this week, there were 5 or so cases stacked in the beer section.

It's gotten much easier to find since they've been bottling it regularly for a few months. At first it sold out immediately, but people have calmed down now so it tends to be fairly easy to find.

Driving through this weekend from Maryland. Same question. Where can I find Bodhi or other Ohio only highly regarded hoppy beers? Coming in I-70 westbound from WV to I-270 outside of Columbus to I-71 south. The wife and 3 kids (one being a 3 month old) won't tolerate much of an adventure off of the beaten path. Umm, help?!

The Kroger at Worthington Mall has had Bodhi and had Creeper and isn't too far from you, might be worth a call as you're getting closer. You'll also be pretty close to Weilands which is the go-to beer spot in Columbus for most of us.

Based off your route, you might want to check out the Corner Stone off Parsons Ave, pretty quick access off the freeway. decent shop, probably could just call ahead and ask about anything specifically availability wise.

Looking at the map, I don't think these will be options but thanks for the suggestions. We're going to be passing through the southeast side of Columbus.

If you stay on I-70 West and take I-71-South from there instead of taking 270....it would only add a couple minutes of drive time and open up a lot more options.

And as a bonus - less chance of snipers: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ohio_highway_sniper_attacks

Cornerstone will probably be your best bet then. Take 70 into the downtown area skipping getting off at 270 and you'll be able to jump on 71 pretty easily after.

If you end up going to cornerstone the olde Towne Tavern is really close. They have a decent draft list (normally have Bodhi) good food and is family friendly. And yellow brick pizza is across the street with a large draft selection and is family friendly (but normally full of hipsters).

Wait in line to pick up your calendar page on Friday.

Drink your face off until the early morning.

Wake up Saturday and wait in another line to get your likely 1 pp beers.

Good luck! Haha :)

Like I said, I'll be around the Caribbean from the 12th-21st. If I wasn't, I would 100% be doing this exact thing haha.

Details? I didn't see anything upon glancing at their facebook page.

Hey Ohio TBers. Some of you have heard of this idea last year and after meeting up with one of the Brews for New Avenues guys for a trade in Europe it's time to get this going. I'm trying to start a similar non-profit here in Ohio, specifically Columbus but it's a state where I will need 3 directors to get this incorporated and going. I'm looking for people that might want to combine a love of drinking some of the world's finest beer with raising money for various charitable causes. I'm in the Columbus area so that would make it easier to start but we do live in a virtual world so I'm willing to drive and call whomever is interested. If someone has ever started a website even, you're ahead of me in terms of getting things in front of the public to start bringing a legitimacy to it.

I guess PM me if interested? Maybe throw some ideas out if something like this exists?
