More than doubled on a couple. Looks like they went a little conservative on the Aztec. I grabbed an extra base the description and abv seem right up my alley for football games on the couch.

Very bummed. That was my favorite beer last year.

I have had 0 issues with the rum variants. Only one that was off to me was a bourbon one.

Yeah. Was pretty sharply tart. It was almost drinkable though, the coconut is still very strong. Bourbon tastes gross though.

I opened a bourbon coconut today and it tasted fine. Didn't get a ton of coconut (some once it had warmed up), but didn't taste infected to me. Though there was a slight apple tartness to the Melange 15 that I opened after that.

The only infected bottle of MP I've had is the 7 year (fingers crossed). I still have a few of the bourbon variants from this year and so far, they've all bee good.

They teased MP aged in Uncommon Raptor barrels. I'm taking it that this is the Eagle Rare they listed in the sign up list. Anyone know if the other single barrels are on the horizon as well?

That's how I read it. And in the Pic they captioned "where and when" to buy them so I read that that these are the K&L barrels.

I was debating this morning about whether or not to buy any, given the recent infection issues. I never max out on any of the allocations, usually just buying 1 or 2 bottles of the most adjuncty offerings and whatnot (and then a ton of cans). Going to take the risk on the K&L offerings though, as I'm a sucker for bourbon-centric branding (kudos to 50/50 for pioneering this and still making nice $$$ despite quality really taking a plunge after 2012). Worst case scenario, rampant infection, horrible smelling drain, and redeeming gift cards for growler fills of poor man's trillium.

They supplied barrels for a few MP bottles last year, like the 7yr, 10yr, 12yr and probably a few other ones.

See link from reaper for the what, as far as knowing that its for K&L that was just "in the know" thing as it hasnt been announced officially. What we do know is this from the opening pitch for the league:

"-Monsters' Park aged in WL Weller, Eagle Rare, Four Roses, & Old Forrester barrels (extremely limited availability of each through one retailer, otherwise League exclusive- ~250 bottles of each)"

Now we have Devils Teeth instead of MP so not totally clear if that is part of this line or not but I would assume that it is? I guess we will know sooner or later.

And it does see "league exclusive" so I am assuming we will get a crack at them but im also assuming a lot of the ppl that dont normally buy the league sales will step up for the rarities so it may be the first "wahhhhhhh my feelings are hurt" MT sale (besides the league sign ups themselves). I'd love to be wrong about that!
