Tin barrel aged islands is something I could get behind. Maybe get some cutwater barrels...

I dig it conceptually but putting a beer hopped/dry hopped with Citra through any sort of aging seems like a bad idea considering how fast it falls off. However, it would be rad to see them riff on that and do something like Transit of Venus aged in gin barrels, then hit it with a Citra/Amarillo dry hop. Fortunate Transit or Transit of Islands, whatever you want to call it.

Nitro City of the Dead w/ Cocoa Nibs, Almonds, and Sea Salt started rolling out today. Just cracked my first can and I'm definitely a fan, adjuncts are all distinctly clear yet well integrated and meld nicely with the base beer and coffee. CotD w/ Coconut, Vanilla, and Almond is still my favorite variant but I'll have no trouble crushing my way through a few four packs of this.

UPDATE: I didn't explain the League points system in the new member email that went out. For those of you that don't know, whenever your purchase something in our tasting rooms, you swipe your membership card and you get reward points. At the end of the year, members will get rewards for said points.

2017 League members and 2018 Theory members — I had mentioned a couple days ago that the League points rewards email and first theory newsletter would go out yesterday, but it will actually be sent out today. My apologies for not notifying you all sooner.

2018 League members — Remember that we will be throwing a bunch of special beers on draft this Thursday, with many of them being available for League-exclusive crowler fills. Our taplist is pretty small right now after the holiday weekend, so we put in a huge inventory order this morning to ensure you have some awesome options starting on Thursday.

If anyone has any questions then shoot an email to [email protected] for the quickest response. I'm gonna start going through facebook, beer advocate, talkbeer, etc. later tonight since I haven't been active on here over the past few days.

We're in talks about switching over to digital cards right now. No promises, but it's a possibility that could be implemented this year.

I think the most expensive growler fill I got last year was the original maple MP...coming in at about $30, still cheaper than buying a bottle.

Most of the crowlers I have gotten lately have been $12-15, although I missed that I could have gotten a BA DT which I bet would have been around $20ish.

Every other membership that I am in that has a group allows people that split the membership into the group.
