After my 2 hour each way commute yesterday for only #2, this is a little more salt in the wound.Ah I love living 5 minutes away![]()
Making it's debut at NHCBW locations during craft beer week is New England Brewing Company New Hey PA, a 5.8% American Pale Ale brewed with Galaxy Hops, then dry hopped with with Nelson, Equinox, and more Galaxy hops.
We will have this on draft all week, or while it lasts, and on cask during the NEBCo Cask Crawl.
New Hay PA is pretty outstanding.
thought it was good, not great.
Which ridiculously named IPA? That's kinda their thing right now. Also what the hell are the hops in this ridiculously named Kent Falls IPA, this is amazing

Enjoyed that beer quite a bit. Liked it a lot better than Zep on the Jukebox, but not as good as Awkward Hug.Some vague blah blah blah. Single hop but their blog post about it teases the hops and then Doesn't deliver.
No idea about the hops but I assume you're referring to "Some Vague Reassurances Everything's Going to Be Alright."Some vague blah blah blah. Single hop but their blog post about it teases the hops and then Doesn't deliver.

Opinions are like ******** and my palate is garbage, but probably my favorite new NEBCO pale in a while. I don't get any of the crap Equinox flavors out of it, and the Nelson is at just the level I like it. A tiny bit too bitter I guess.

where's that?Kent Falls is doing a tap takeover in walking distance from my house on Friday, maybe I can try that one.
The Lucky Taco in Manchesterwhere's that?
Heard there were 6-packs of Hag out dated from this week, which I think would indicate they were brewed on the new system rather than at Two Roads. I imagine they'd like to reopen with more to offer than their standard year-round stuff, so I don't mind if that requires an extra week or two.
They did a large batch of Sea Hag at Two Roads during the hiatus to keep draft accounts supplied. Here's the write-up from Facebook a month and a half ago:2 roads has been brewing and canning for them ? Didn't hear anything about that
Hi everyone, we wanted to take second and give everyone a quick update on what’s happening at NEB. Some of you know that we’re in the process of preparing for our new bigger equipment to arrive in the next week. The installation of the new brew house will require us to stop production for about a week or so in order to get it up and running. To help avoid out of stock issues with draft we’re excited that we’ll be brewing a batch with our good friends at Two Roads. This will only be for one batch and our Head Brewer Matt will be at Two Roads for the brew. We're lucky to get to work with Phil and John whom we have great respect for (as well as their whole staff).
After our expansion is complete it will take us a bit to recover from being shut down but we will have the ability to brew twice the amount of beer on a daily basis. We hope to be caught up by early to mid November. In December we will add even more fermentation capacity on top of what is coming next week. This will bring our capacity to roughly double what we will have produced in 2015. Thank-you for your appreciated continued support and patience. We can't thank everyone enough.

Yeah only kegs came from 2R though. Last batch of cans were off the new system. They did a large batch of Sea Hag at Two Roads during the hiatus to keep draft accounts supplied. Here's the write-up from Facebook a month and a half ago:
