I grabbed a few bottles of IST at Bevmax Norwalk a little while ago, they still had a few cases left. I'd have to double check my receipt but I think they were $7.99.

There were some IST bottles around New Haven today too. Snagged the last bottle at Amity. The beer guy said they went though 5 cases in about an hour without posting they had it.

The lines at the brewery the last few days have been crazy. Waited an hour yesterday (which was definitely worth it for the FBD and IST fills) after I showed up 20 mins before opening. The line stretched outside to the far side of the building in the rain.
Seriously? Son of a... I was just down there yesterday!

Also, WTF with those line times? Very unlike NEBCO, but I guess I'm happy for them that it's busy

FBD kegs have made their way out into the wild. On at Mikro now, Prime 16 Orange Friday @ 4.
Edit-And Prime in New Haven now too

Acquired this guy ('06, batch 1) on Saturday thanks to JAHMUR, who is a gentleman and a scholar. I know lambandtunaphish and ilikegoodbeerCT tried one recently and enjoyed. Anyone else have thoughts about it recently? I'm thinking I should probably crack it relatively soon.

Dan's the man! The last few 2006's that I've had in the last several years have all been pretty outstanding. A couple bottles showed some signs of smokiness which was pretty interesting. Not a bad one in the bunch, though. I would drink it sooner rather than later, however.

Anyone have any more info on their dog fighting off that pitbull? Where it happened / if the guy who owned the dog got in trouble? ******* idiots taking their dogs out without leashes, what is wrong with people?

I don't know why brewers bother to post anything past the basics on social media anymore. They post a picture of Eli and his heroics, but mention the dog that attacked was a pitbull only to get snippy comments about their pitbull discrimination.

That is mind blowing to me. The owner of a locally beloved brewery AND his family get attacked by a dog and other owners of said breed of dog get up in arms that he mentions the breed!

The dude and his family were attacked by a supposedly viscous ******* dog! Get over the fact that you happen to own the same dumb breed! Rob and his wife and kids could have been mauled!

I am getting rather sick of the blind support for certain breeds of dogs. I get it, people love their pit bulls, but those dogs do have a habit of involved in some pretty viscous attacks. I know they are not the only dog that bites humans or other dogs, but they are one of the few breads that a strong enough to inflict life threatening damage...

LYMI

What's the over/under on Eli's weight gain from the abundance of treats over the next few weeks? I'm going with 7lbs...

So has the hop profile changed in the latest Sea Hag batch? I've seen a couple mentions online of it now having Amarillo as one of it's hops.

As far as I know, it's been perpetually evolving for the last year or 2, and has really become an awesome beer under Matt's tutelage. Not sure specifically on Amarillo though.

cool. yeah, it's involved into a great beer for sure. I just wish they'd date the cans - in a lot of stores, I don't buy it because there's no way to know how long it's sat.

I hear ya. I try to go to store that are pretty popular and move a lot of product to pick up beers like that. Atleast you have a fighting chance.

That said, I'm quite happy to have a keg of Sea Hag in my man cave :)

I thought I remembered hearing them say that dates would start being stamped on cans whenever they switched over to the actual canning line. Did that never happen?

The new place is open for fills now yeah? Haven't been yet and I'm going to be in Orange this Saturday. I'm also Facebookless and deathly afraid of Twitter...
