Yes. How many of those people will drink it though?

Did you have any of the first batch? I've heard different responses on it being ok to amazing.
Nope.

The fact that Black Agnes is made in the quantities it is manages to take care of all my mead needs.

It's ginger for people who don't like ginger. Would x1000 rather have small batch ginger as a ginger lover. As a stand alone offering it's solid

Yeah. If Moonlight put out Lord Jim, it would be a revelation. While excellent, it's like the 15th best mead Schramm's does. I won't wait in line for it.

I'd like to do a side by side with heavy hitters that's the only true way to tell, blind. **** is so good I don't have to look else where for my summer IPA fix

Detroit area folks probably already know about this, but just in case:

8 Degrees Plato partnered with Batch to brew a beer that they're selling at Plato tomorrow. All proceeds go towards testing all those untested rape kits in Detroit. Seems like a damn worthy cause. Maybe the beer will be good, maybe it won't. Still, it's worth throwing a few bucks at it if you're around on Saturday.

Nice!

Stopped at Fillmore 13 brewing in Pontiac today.

The Good: space is nice, mosaic IPA was quite good, the porter was also good, food was above average, service was great.

The Bad: located in ******** downtown Pontiac.

It was better than any brewery in Detroit, as far as I'm concerned. I'll be back for sure.

For as cool as Detroit is it lacks a decent brewery that's for sure, especially if you dont count JP. I love JP I'm simply talking about cooler smaller breweries. I even think this is true when talking about Grand Rapids. Speciation is doing great things but they don't have a tasting room.

Curious what you're looking for in a "cool, smaller brewery" in GR? I think there are a few, (Vivant, Greyline, Harmony, Harmony Hall, Mitten, White Flame <not in GR proper>. My expectations might be different from yours though. Genuinely curious, since I typically have a mental list of recommended go-to places when out of towners ask. I just want to make sure I'm not sending someone to a place they might not like.

I've got friends in GR, we go there a lot. Vivant is cool, grey line is solid. That's about it. We usually end up and founders because we love the food. The next day we usually drive to transient and enjoy everything they have and grab food across the street. Seems like everything there just doesn't set itself apart I dunno? I like diff **** apparently ? Speciation is definitely amazing me though.
