Jeebuz.

But yeah, I had forgotten about BFD. Ale Mary's, eh? Will avoid. Unless of course they have something I NEED to have 64ozers of. Doubtful.

Besides breweries directly, 8 Degrees shops, and the MI Growler Co, anyone got any decent growler spots?
If you make it up to the East Side, Boat Works in SCS at 12 mile and Harper will do growler fills. Brian is a great dude and usually has some really great beers on tap. 10 taps of usually MI beers.

My bro just moved to Sarnia. Next time I go to visit I'll take that route. Thanks for the tip!

Not Detroit-related, but Michigan-related, so close enough.

Traverse City recommendations for beer/food/other stuff? Headed there and wondering if anyone has anything new beyond the mandatory Short's/7 Monks/Jolly Pumpkin? I thought Workshop Brewing looked interesting. Also heard good things about Rare Bird and Filling Station.

Workshop and Rare Bird are great, both beer and food. Hoplot Brewing up in Leelenau Penninsula has good beer and a kickass outdoor area for seating and games.

I went to Tandem Ciders with my wife last weekend and we both liked it.

Agree with this, if at hop lot it's just a bit of s drive up the peninsula. I love frenchies famous for the best Pastrami sandwich I've had, the place reminds me of the soup nazi from Seinfeld. Sit in what could be an old shed that fits about 10 guests, it's different, an experience...plus tillys is right next door which is a low key bottle shop that has good beers and he randomly puts out some gems. Little fleet is a good stop. Had kbs on tap a couple weeks ago when I was there.

Really? Come on girl. Nah, I enjoy some Right Brain, but Shiiit I've had some diacytel bombs there.
steimie, no matter what you do, do yourself a favor and get some Patisserie Amie for Breakfast... Right next to Rare Bird.
Apprently some other **** has opened since I was last there. I also didn't make it up your way and didn't manage to share whatever disease I caught on Mackinac on my circle tour. All for the best considering what a lousy guest I would have been.

I always make a point to stop at Brewery Ferment, they do a lot of interesting stuff that is on tap from time to time.

Is this the list for Friday night? I've always liked swinging by on Saturday afternoon for a bit to see what summery things they have going. However, given that they've f'd up DRIPA so badly, I'm not confident the quality of the Saturday beers will be all that high.

From FB, its for the whole celebration...but probably for as long as they last.

But KRE is vintage as are COB and Solstice so hopefully those refound kegs last beyond Friday.

I may swing by on Saturday afternoon but not knowing bottle situation, whats left on tap, etc... it will be a spur of the moment call.

One party, two locations.... We are going to pop in somewhere... See someone? I am sure. Or we will say **** it and hang out at the usual hot spots.

They'll do tiny pours and charge even more than usual. And then they'll stop after 45 minutes.
