Death by a thousand paper cuts. Sometimes brewing can feel that way. Nothing individually is physically difficult, but there can be a whole lot of little things that add up.

Here are just some of the things that I have done, that help make brewing easier.

  1. A set of wire brushes (1/4" - 2"), all hung on separate hooks above my sink.
  2. I switched out all my keg posts to CORNELIUS Posts with universal poppet valves. One wrench, and I never have to worry about "what" goes with "what".
  3. Williams Brew siphonless fermentors, no more autosiphons and hoses to clean.
  4. I have two CO2 tanks, when one goes empty, I switch out, and at my conveience I get the next one filled up.
  5. I have two Oxygen tanks, for the same reason.
  6. After the mash I boil the sparge water, then put my Oxygen wand, tubing to rack to the fermentors, and blow off tubes in it. Perfect sanitation, and it's faster than using Star San.
I would love to hear about the little things that you guys have done, that help with your brew day.
