Any thoughts on this recipe guys? I'll be brewing it in the next week so hopefully it's good!

My only thought is that I look forward to seeing how it turns out!

My daughter has asked me to brew a pumpkin something or other, and she thought this sounded intriguing.

One question: What is meant by "caramelized pumpkin puree?"

Brew on :mug:

Empty you can of pumpkin puree onto a baking sheet and bake @350-375 for an hour (mix at least once to not burn) to get some color/caramelization on it before you start brewing. I also mix my spices into the puree during the caramelization. Add it to your boil.

I made a pumpkin ale this fall and it was delicious (in fact I am drinking the very last one right now) . . . I love pumpkin chocolate-chip cookies, so I find the concept intriguing . . . how did it turn out?
