I don't see $28 confirmed anywhere yet. Certainly could be, but I'll wait to freak out.

I am very far out of the loop, can anyone explain this ancient one to me? Is this Bourbon Abominable aged in an old Heaven Hill Barrel? And they're doing 2 treatments of it? Sounds amazing if so.
Ancient One B-Bomb is a blend of 18 and 30-month B-Bomb aged in 12 and 35-year old bourbon barrels. When we happened upon these rare, 35-year old bourbon barrels, we knew they would add an extra layer of intensity and complexity to B-bomb’s bourbon, oak, cacao, leather, and dark coffee notes. Each barrel contributes a different note and combining each barrel to create a coherent tone is a distinct art and true pleasure. 14.0% ABV, 65 IBU

Ancient One Bourbon Dark Star is a blend of 18 and 30-month Bourbon Barrel-Aged Dark Star in 12 and 35-year old Heaven Hills barrels. Using these rare, 35-year old bourbon barrels creates a truly unique, one-of-a-kind beer. The roasted and chocolate malts complement the smooth oats to bring you a stout delight wrapped in a gentle embrace of bourbon barrel-aged warmth. A touch of sweetness dances in balance with the hops to finish with a wave and then she’s gone. 14.5% ABV, 50 IBU
Having drank a lot of beer, I am just not convinced that there is a worthwhile difference between the 95th percentile of beer and the 99th. Like I am sure these ancient beers offer something a little different from say, Parabola, but I am not convinced I need to spent 4x more on it and have to wait in line for hours to do so.
Seems like its spread more thin. I heard they made roughly the same amount as last year but have entered 3 new markets since then. So to answer your question...Idaho.Hello friends! Question: is KDS distro different or thin compared to previous years? I ask because I've always been able to buy a case but this year my spot got a lot less than the past few releases. Or, would you expect more to be released soon?
Not for someone in NY haha.Regular KDS has been easy to find so far. Whole Foods and Safeway both had it along with the regular Seattle bottle shops.
Curious how the variant distro will be handled.

Uh, so what's it gonna take for me to score bottles of Coffee & Spice Wars KDS?
Yeah, it was actually considerably harder to get base KDS this year. Can't imagine the craziness of Spice Wars.Normally I'd just say I got you, but we have ******* lines outside Fremont 4 hours before they open these days, and apparently Idaho needed to have distro?
Stay tuned though
if you really want to have some mandible grinding fun, go hit the trade boards and try to land some AOKDSYeah, it was actually considerably harder to get base KDS this year. Can't imagine the craziness of Spice Wars.

I did a 3:1 trade and landed aokds after 4 failed isos.
I only really wanted the aobbomb bc barleywine master raceYeah, there are apparently a few more cases worth of B-bomb than KDS out there. I tried to trade B-bomb 1:1 for KDS several times and failed.
M3 Barrel Magic- 2015 Rusty Nail, 2015 Bourbon B-Bomb, 2016 Bing Cherry Stout, and 2016 Brew 2000 Westland Peated. The 3 Matts Blended this beer just for this event and with your ticket purchase you get a bottle of M3 Barrel Magic to take home.
Brew 1000 redux in Westland peated barrels was what I was told at HHC. If it's anything like the Smoking Jacket the smoke will be almost non-existent, but who knows.I see Brew 2000 is listed as part of the blend for the M3 Barrel Magic bottles being released at the Toronado beer dinner:
Anyone got any more info? Is this another barley wine? Hoping for a non-peated version...
can we refrain from discussing this beer until after i am able to land it.Brew 1000 redux in Westland peated barrels was what I was told at HHC. If it's anything like the Smoking Jacket the smoke will be almost non-existent, but who knows.
