Can someone please post the coffee/spice wars KDS release info so I know how stupid I need to get with a trade offer?

Alternately, I'll note to anyone in the area who's ever thought about getting themselves a good Chicago trading partner that this is an excellent time of year to do so and I get excellent reviews for my kind eyes and gentle touch.
go away jake, i'll have some bottles commin and you'll try them

And yeah... we got you Josh...

So Fremont put out a notice that Dec 1 something sweet was coming. Some people thought maybe Cherry B-Bomb, but...

2012 KDS + 2012 B-Bomb and 2 glasses.... $75

KDS doesn't age well and there's plenty of 2012 B-Bomb around to get it if you want it. I love you Fremont but no thank you.

Now, that Cherry B-Bomb. When can I put a bottle in my belly?

Dat glass doe...

There's no Cherry B-Bomb this year. They're only doing a coffee/cinnamon (mixed) variant and a special single-barrel release (30 year old Heaven Hill, I believe).

Do you know if either of those is being bottled? Because... yeah. :p

Really hope they make this again. It's phenomenal and the bottles are holding up nicely. The cinnamon has fallen back a little but it's definitely still noticeable unlike one of the kegs I tried after a year.

FYI-they did a second batch. I don't know all of the details, but I do know that they're also planning on doing a second iteration of Rusty Nail as well. Can you say Hnnnggghh?

That's right. I remember it being a little tame in the cinnamon compared to the first batch though.

It was on tap on nitro at Big Wood at Brouwer's last week. Quite a few people were saying that they couldn't decide if BA Abraxas (which was a special tapping) was better.

It's really good, BTW. If you haven't had it, but have had Coffee KDS, it's basically the same treatment, only with some cinnamon. They said they were very careful not to overdo it with the cinnamon this time.

To be fair I also heard the BA Abraxas keg that was tapped was a little short of mind blowing, which is how I think of it. All the bottles I've had have been ridiculous.

Anyone have the same feeling?
