I’m thinking I need to strap a few ten pound lead weights on the top of the snowblower. It keeps riding up. Anybody ever try that? It’s a small (? 28-30”) machine and it prefers to pop up instead of digging in.

I get that when the auger packs up and becomes a revolving ice drum. Like, today.
I don't think weight on the nose will solve it but give it a try and let us know what happens...
