as pretty as these glasses are it's annoying that it cant fit one of their beers

but gee whiz this passionfruit is nice. i didn't mind waiting for diacetyl to clear up last year but it sure is nice to be able to drink them right away.

Why does that matter at all? I think the glass is gorgeous and functional.

Was impressed with the Passion Fruit sour as well, but the Grand Cru is world-class, imo.

because i have to bring the bottle with me upstairs to finish pouring it.

i agree the grand cru is the best out of the 4 i've had this year and up there with persica and plum. i can't wait to see how that's drinking in a few months.

not that they'd be able to fill our reserve society growlers anyway

I've been wondering. Is there any plan to let us fill growlers? Heck I bought 2 extra just in case they start it. I just find it strange that growlers were given out and we aren't supposed to be able to fill it with CS beers.

If you want to get rid of one of those growlers, I know a guy who is interested. I contacted the brewery, but they don't have any extra available. Let me know.

Based on everything I've heard it's going to be a long time before anything is produced that will be able to go into those growlers. For now, they are very exclusive water bottles.

I'll let you know, right now my extra is with my Trustee just in case they started selling them. Till then I'll just fill it with water and homebrew.

Shoot me a pm and I'll give you my email addy. Send me a label and you can have mine. If they get to the point that they can fill these they should be at the point they will sale me sixtels.

So annoyed with myself for not buying additional bottles of the Grand Cru - was underwhelmed by previous tries of the regular L'Brett d'Or, so skipped buying additional GCs. Then I opened one. ****.

I was in the same boat. I have never thought too much of the normal d'Or so I didn't get any extras. :(

Also, Petit Blueberry OMGSOTasty

This x100

Each new release this year I like more than the last. Blueberry might be tough to beat

After recently trying all of this year's offerings except L'Brett D'Cherry, my personal ranking would be:

L'Brett Grand Cru

Blueberry Petite
Blackberry Dark Origins
Passionfruit Petite
Nightmare on Brett Port

Raspberry Origins

************

EDIT: Raspberry Origins was the only slightly underwhelming offering for me. It was still great, and if I ever saw it on draft I would definitely get a pour. It wasn't bad by any means! The four I placed in the middle are nearly equal for me. And all were fantastic.

And that freaking Grand Cru. God damn that beer is heavenly!

They tapped Blackberry Dark Origins last week. Pretty damn good.
I've had the Raspberry Dark Origins on tap as well a few times and I might have to side with the Raspberry. The Raspberry seemed to stand out more out of the Origins base beer, since Origins is on the darker fruit side to begin with.

Last of my 2013 bottles. So ******* good and definitely the reason I maxed out on Grand Cru.
