Might be something wrong with the online store, I would email them. I was under the same impression as you and I know that they had some issues with the store when these allocations were supposed to initially go up. Either that or they didnt account correctly for all of the members.

Yea, we emailed last night, I also see someone made a facebook post to their wall of similar nature. No response as of yet due to GABF according to their email.

Yes, I was trying to by my FIRST allocation at these. I had thought the wording was such that we were guaranteed bottles until Tuesday 9/30. Seems strange to use 6 bottle allocation if you don't have enough for all members to have one round of purchases.

I actually also went on to buy this morning and was surprised to see Night Cap as Sold Out.

You would think with a 6 bottle limit that they would make sure each member could order some. But it did happen last year with one of the beers also. I've learned to get my order in early.

L'Brett d'Plum, IIRC, was the one that ran out before everyone could order their extra allocations. Even so, you could only order, what, 2 extra bottles?

Bottles of Nightcap are now officially sold out. For members that waited until the last minute to try to order and found out it had just sold out, remember that two bottles of Nightcap are included in the purchase of a 2014 Cellar Reserve membership. Additional bottles are made available on a first-come basis and were available for the past two weeks.

If you have any questions, need to set a time to pick up allocations, or update trustee information please email [email protected].

My theory is that they assume a certain percentage don't max out their allocations (this is probably fairly consistent over the majority of the releases). However when they announced this was the last year, I bet some people realized this was the last time they would be able to guarantee themselves some Crooked Stave so people that wouldn't usually max out did and it threw off their prediction. Just a theory though.

Yeah, Makes sense.

Everything already sold out? Had both in my cart and now they say sold out..

I'm a little bit bummed that they decided to discontinue the Cellar Reserve, but honestly, I appreciate that they made the renewal decision easier for me. The quality of the beers has gone downhill since the first year, IMO.

Damn. That was quick. I wonder why they kept the limit so high if the supply was that limited.

I am assuming it is an error, they wouldn't limit it that high if there was that little, I'm sure it'll show back up later.

Highly doubtful. Remember, this is the brewery that built their brew house on an unprepared floor and gave members growlers that can't be filled with any of their beers. It seems planning more than a couple weeks ahead is difficult for the crooked stave crew.

Well that makes me sad, they couldn't give us more than 30 minutes notice? I didn't have time to check my personal email and then its sold out, I'm on the entitlement train and whambulance, I get it, but I was really hoping to buy more bottles since this is our last chance. Sucks.

They said in the first email when the 2nd sale would start. Last year I think all the sales of the 2nd allotments went this fast.
