Coming out to Denver at the end of the month for a Phish show and general tourism...can you guys point me in the right direction for eating (high end or otherwise), drinking and smoking?

Staying in LODO area if anyone wants to meet up!

Definitely can help with drinking/smoking.

And drinking!

Did you say phish? I'll be there with some good bottles Saturday night.

Hope you Colorado homies are hitting these Outer Range releases. Super smooth yesterday, hopefully they don't get too crazy going forward.

I don't think I could ever drive 2 hours just for IPA cans, but nonetheless, Outer Range is legit. If you spend any vacation time in the mountains and drive past Frisco on 70, you need to plan a stop. If you live in Summit County and haven't been there, WTF? It's a great space and the IPA's are on point. I couldn't get enough of Blocks of Light yesterday.

I'll have to stop there this winter when I hit copper mountain.

Looking at hotels for GABF. Anyone have any insight on the Capitol hill/city park west area? Good neighborhood to stay in or no?

Other option is closer to Coors Field/River North area near I-25.

I guess I am asking more in the which area can I stumble around drunk safer sense.
If I was coming into town for it I would choose the River North area. Has more breweries and eating places that I would want to stumble around easily. Saying that I live just East of City Park and easy Uber ride to downtown and anywhere I would want to go.

River North. I walked from GABF last year to Stem Ciders. Not impossible.

Anyone going to WTF this year? I am hesitant to try it again. And it's $100 which can buy quite a few nice pours at one of the many events that week.
I'm still undecided. I went last year and had a great time, not very crowded and lots of cool beers that you could just walk up and get without waiting in line.

Meh, I'm going. Yes, 2015 was an apocalyptic abomination but last year was great. Pirate Paradise all night with zero line did not suck. Plus if it sucks again it'll be the last WTF. Sure, they'll probably put it on again, but ain't NOBODY falling for that a third time...

So, hi guys. I'm in Denver until Tuesday. Hitting Black Project and TRVE tomorrow and Falling Rock in just a few.

Hit me up if you wanna touch tips. We will also be at the Rockies game on Monday evening.

Da fuq? Why does everyone post this so late?
I recommend Crafty Fox over Falling Rock any day.
