BTW - perhaps they did help us become independent, but I wonder if that was because they just wanted to help us, or where there other reasons? (I already know the answer) At any rate, as long as we are discussing favors, I recall two occasions within the past century, where we have paid them back for their help.

Unfortunatly that sounds about right. I dont know how many times when doing tech support (Which is what i do) I will say I am in Canada, the response is. Canada? what state is that?
