I'm drinking my first all grain right now... A total success. I started with a Mr. Beer kit making mediocre beer, and I did a few "kits" with my 5 gallon kit... Reading everything here, I made my MLT which was a blast (hunting all the parts). I made the "Pottsville" common ale recipe I found on here. I substituted 2 row for the 6 row, and used Nottingham instead of a lager yeast. This beer is about 6% ABV and is awesome tasting, and it doesn't have the extract Twang taste to it!
