Test Mash MLT - Think This Will Work?

I bought a 5 QT rectangular cooler to do tests mashes in.

I.e. 1# grain, 1.6 QT water

Think this will work ok?

Sure. I used to do the same for a while. I would essentially use BIAB with it and put the grain in a paint strainer bag and mash inside one of these just to hold the temp.
