Terms and Descriptions of incgredients and their impact on beer

Pretty much said it in the tag line. Is there an online resource that gives what each ingredient does to beer? Like wheat malt, roasted barley, different grades of lovibond malt etc? Thanks, MPW

Not sure about online, but Dave Line's old book - The Big Book of Brewing is pretty good for that stuff. It's a bit outdated now, but most of the info is there.
