I've been reading about Tepache and decided to do one that is a hybrid with cider. Here is the recipe I am thinking of:
1 1/2 gal Motts apple juice
10-12 oz brown sugar
Mangrove Jack M02 yeast
2 pineapples
Start fermenting juice and brown sugar in 2 gal pail
(should have SG of about 1.065)
In meanwhile chop and freeze pineapples
Add thawed pineapple (in bag) after 2 days
Any comments are welcome.
