My problem was keeping my ferment cool enough to keep the fusel alcohols down, I never needed a heater.
Does anybody know of a heating pad that will work with a thermostat to maintain proper fermentation temp, cause I have a heat mat thermostat and the ambient temperature in my fermenting room is to high.
How did you build a chiller?It's about 68. But I brew high ABV meads and they put off enough heat that the temps were getting way too high so I built a chiller.
