"Simultaneous Ring"
I can be anywhere in the world yet pick up calls to my FioS home phone if desired (or let'em go to voice mail if spam :))

Air conditioned seats in my car - man sounded stupid but on those hot days or road trips there is just no better way to air out those areas that don’t usually air out.

Digital media -- If it ain't in my hand, it could just go away, and I can't take it anywhere. My CD/tape/DVD/VHS/8-track/record collection was massive 15 years ago. Everything is now on Emby/Plex/Synology and much more accessible.

Back up cameras. Never thought I'd need the one on a car I purchased. Now I love the one in this car, and don't want to do without it.
I had always driven vehicles on the smaller side (Nissan Murano, Rogue, and Honda CRV) where the backup camera was nice, but not entirely necessary.

I just got a Chevy Traverse and that backup camera is 100% essential. To me, this vehicle is gigantic.

Oh, so many. We got new appliances last year (washer/dryer, stove, dishwasher, refrigerator) and while I have not yet figured out the fridge, the washer/dryer and stove talk to my phone, and thus my galaxy smartwatch. I can be sitting out here in my womancave, and know to the nanosecond when my dryer is done drying my clothes (which will sit in the dryer for a few more days until I feel like folding them), or my oven is preheated precisely to the point I can place whatever I'm cooking for dinner that night in it.

Bluetooth home security cameras. I can watch my dogs all day long from work snoring on the couch, and know when my husband gets home. Conversely, when I have an unexpected day off, he knows when I leave to go shopping (or to the casino on occasion). I can also watch my postman throw packages over my fence.

For brewing, it's been out for a few years now but I absolutely love my brewvision thermometers. Not having to get up from my comfy chair every five minutes to stick a thermometer in my strike water is heaven.

On this newest car there are lights in the up frame of the windshield. Each one of those goes off if a vehicle is in the blind spot on this car. If you have your blinker light on to indicate a lane change, that light will blink with the blinker if a vehicle is in the blind spot/too close for the lane change. I am finding it helpful in heavy traffic.

thinking of these warning lights: how about a visual and audio alert for when somebody is in the left (fast) lane and not actually passing anybody even though it's wide open forever in front of them? 'Keep right except when passing' is the law in many (most?) states, yet there's always somebody parked next to a big truck (who has a slower speed limit to obey) blocking everybody from using the miles of empty road in front of them.

this kind of 'fast lane hording' alert would be a great asset and save endless hours of frustration for a great majority of drivers

Oh, and a camera on your phone.
I was fully of the opinion that something is only good for 1 specific job.
Phone for calling & messaging
Camera for pictures
Now I almost always use my phone to take pictures

Now the phone is just an app on my phone.

An app I don't like to use.
