Tater tots (crispy!) with a T-Bone.

well to me the whole thing looks pale, except the perfect twist marks..

edit: sorry for asking so many questions about your dinner, but was it a double step cook, oven & grill?

Split 50/50. Tots are usually pretty consistent, onion rings often are not and not in a good/variety sorta way.

But, if one considers the presumption of a top shelf onion ring then, yeah, onion ring.

OTOH, one can doctor up a plate of tots with all sorta stuff if so inclined.

My wife had tots for the first time last week. She was thrilled. I told her it was as close as you can get to McDonald's hash browns at home.

Those hash browns are really something. You really have to have a factory to get them right.

One of our local BBQ joints always had great tots, and they'd top with some of their rub. Went in this weekend, and they no longer carry tots. Just fries, as far as potatoes are concerned. Apparently this just happened this month.

We'll probably still go back, but less often than before. :(
