hey everyone on the forum i need so help so like always i turn to all the wonderful people here. I wanted to brew an ipa with a hint of grapefruit. It is still in the primary and today i took a gravity reading and of course i tasted it to check out how it was going to turn out and it has good flavor, but it hard a semi hard bitter after taste. i plan to transfer to secondary and add one peeled grapefruit and then bottle a week later. i wanted to know if this is normal and is there anyway i could get rid of after taste? a little about the recipe i used is
1oz horizon at 60
1oz centennial 10 min
1oz simcoe 5min
1oz amarillo 0 min
yeast: white labs WLP001
