I have 5 second year Centennial, galena and mt hood plants doing great in southern New Jersey. Was wondering if anyone else is seeing earlier than usual harvest ready cones. The centennial in particular are starting to brown on the cone tips and feel papery like at harvest. Not sure if it's from near drought conditions or the early spring. I didn't harvest last year until late August. Any thoughts would be appreciated Thanks.
