Tap handle adapter

Just got in a cool tap from eBay. One problem is that it has a male end. Can the male part of a perlick faucet be removed so I can use this tap or can anyone recommend a female to female adapter I can use for this handle?

Is it a 5/16 NC thread? If so, you need a ferrule.

I just picked up T-Nuts yesterday to build a display and it fits that, those are 3/8 x 16. I might bring it up to my LHBS over the weekend, he might have something I can use for this.
