My next Brew Crew meeting will be held at the brewery and I'm pretty excited to go to it. Our brew crew has gained in size quite a bit the past few months and the head guy at Tallgrass is also a part of our crew.

Tallgrass has quickly become one of my favorite breweries. I don't know if it's because I love their beer so much, the fact that it's always so fresh when you live here in Manhattan or the fact that I'm biased, but next Monday should be a good time.

Just had to share with you guys.

Seconded on the Oasis. Had it for the first time this past weekend and was completely blown away. I even went back to buy more.

Have you guys had their 'Kold' yet? I was really impressed with it as well and even got to sample some before it hit the market.

I didn't like it but that's just me. I could see how other people could like it.

I met the owner at a beer festival here in OKC, pretty cool guy. He was a geologist.

I love the Kold and the Buffalo Sweat.

Bar down the street got the Buffalo Sweat in on tap. I think I might go down there for another pint tonight :D

I haven't tried any of the others yet. Looks like I need to.

I trust "next Monday" won't hold a candle to this past Monday! ;):off:

Not a chance in hell. That was definitely a night to remember. I watched the game at a buddy's place and he had a bit of a party going on. All the girls made valentine's day jello shots and we all rooted the cats on. It was pretty exciting and the bars in aggieville afterwards were absolutely nuts.

One other cool thing was that at halftime, one tall muther walked in and I didn't pay much attention to him for a few minutes, but then realized that it was Wally Judge that had walked in. He ended up watching the rest of the game with us and went to the bars with us afterwards. He didn't say much of anything all night long and didnt have any drinks, but it was cool nonetheless. I think there's something going on behind the scenes that caused him to quit the team as he's still attending school at KState, just not playing ball anymore.

That's pretty cool. One thing I miss is Aggieville after huge wins. My last home football game as a student was beating #4 Texas in 2006.

How about the 2007 game against Texas IN Texas where they were picked to win by 15 and we handed them the worst blowout since 1999 where it was the Cats that stomped all over them as well?

I'm gonna end up being a lifer out here in Manhattan and I can honestly say that I truly love it out here.

Big fan of Tallgrass. Glad we get them here in OKC. I definitely like their Kold for a "gameday" kind of beer. Oasis is pretty amazing as well.

I just love how some of these smaller brewers are really embracing the cans. Our local COOP Aleworks puts their beers in cans as well, and it's just so convenient.

Man. Everyone keeps mentioning Oasis. I think that might be the only Tallgrass I haven't tried yet. I'll have to stop by the store after work and pick some up. See what all the hub bub is about.
