I'll jump on the lactose split. Could someone add me. My phone won't work for that.

By the way - CBK - how was your deception cream stout?
Hi all, Id love to get in on this order for some grain and maybe some hops. Can someone clarify the order sheet for me and what is the link for kegs all about? Thanks
No I don't live there anymore, I just moved to Rochester three weeks ago. I'm just to lazy to try and change my location. That being said can anyone help me so I can get in on this?
Brewed an ipa today... Outside and froze my ass off! I'm a little envious of your new electric system cidah. I've been thinking about building one myself. Any details you could provide me with would be greatly appreciative!
More to come - remind me if I forget to pm you tomorrow!!
banged out a rebrew of the oatmeal stout... INSIDE MY BASEMENT! haha That was a nice change on this fridgid day...
Welded up the rest of the basic brew stand frame so it can be used. Current plan is to brew on the stand through winter and modify it along the way to make it the way we wnat in use, then paint.
Hope you gents had a great weekend as well!
Man, I'm insanely jealous. I tried to brew a 2.5 gallon batch of Denny's Deception Cream Stout on the stove top last night using BIAB. It didn't go so well mostly because my range sucks. I'll just have to brave the cold next time. I'm not even sure if the beer will turn out but we'll see.
In the tune of "Fresh Keg of Bel-Air" (Theme song)
Now, this is the story all about how
A dirty sanke keg got flipped-turned upside down
And I'd like to take a minute
Just sip a beer
I'll tell you how I became the cleanest keg of a town called Bel Air
In a home brewery filled and raised
In a keg chiller was where I spent most of my days
Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool
And shootin some CO2 outside of my airlock
When a couple of blue pads
Who were up to no good
Startin making trouble in my neighborhood
I got in one little scruff and my brew master got thrilled
He said 'Your grime is movin' out with the traub down the drain!'
Thanks for the info cidah! Next time I make it to the Syracuse area I would love to come take a look at the rig. That might help me get a better understanding of it! I will even buy you a couple beers for your time!
CidahMastah said:Is teh deception cream stout a Denny conn recipe? I had no idea!
Where is everyone getting the Denny Conn recipes? I keep hearing about them.
I'm doing that deception cream stout next week! Let me know how yours turns out. I have a ton of different beers planes for when I'm home next week. Doing 4 different ones!
Oatmeal stout
Chocolate stout
Robust porter
Deception cream stout.

Since I have not been home I have not had my lhbc milk stout but when I do I hope to try it. I did taste it when leggings but it did need some aging
The LHMS clone I've done comes out amazing. I did the deception cream stout last night. Using my Bayou Burner definitely kept me nice and warm in the garage =)
Did you do the LHMS clone as stated in the recipe section? Or is this one you conjured up yourself?
I almost thought I saw a BYO version of that clone - will have to check.
