Awesome! I was hoping to get a brewery I've never heard of and you nailed it.. Always happy to support a homebrew friendly brewery!

I finished shopping and was able to stay in the theme by using only two brewery's without one double up. I am sure I'll find more to put in before I ship out on Tuesday.

My buddy stopped through FFF today and picked me up a case of fresh Zombie Dust, so someone can look forward to receiving a couple of those.

Oh. One last thing on GSB. They're super homebrewer friendly. Above and beyond. That's one of the big reasons I really like them.

what makes a place 'home brewer friendly'? I'm not trying to be a smart ass, but looking for insight. a couple places around me are home brewers who went pro, but have never had anyone say 'we are home brewer friendly'.

there are a few places around me that host Home brew club meetings, one brewery was started by a guy who owned a home brew supply shop and went pro, and i've heard of places that will give out yeast samples, but just wondering if there is something else.

There's a lot that they do. Host the local club having a group brewing session, HB contest that apparently they'll brew with the winner and release in the taproom once a month, and just taking extra time for those that brew at home with tips, pointers or to talk brewing.

Awesome. I enjoy going to a place that knows their customer base, which for a brewery has to include home brewers. The HB contest that winner gets to brew on their equipment sounds cool. Doing it monthly is awesome.

Sorry I've been out of the loop. Was in Steamboat skiing all week, just got back this morning. Should be doing my shopping this weekend and there should be some good stuff heading out somewhere.

Shopping for these swaps can get out of hand quickly! I am debating if I should send the goods or drink them all. I am a bit jealous of this bomb I will be sending. Time for a beer break. ImageUploadedByHome Brew1390007508.451983.jpg this is freaken awesome.

Haha I was just looking at the stuff for the swap and my mouth started watering... So I had a beer from the fridge and I'm all better... For now...

I know Two Brothers' Brewing and Bell's both have homebrew shops that they manage at the brewery, I'd say that's about as "homebrew friendly" as you can get
