Shopping is done. Gonna pack up tonight and send out tomorrow. Hopefully it'll warm up where I'm sending it. Stayed super local with this one. Bay Area only.

Ok, im finally back online. Read through 11 pages lol. If anyone needs a little extra time due to weather, thats all good.

And yes, non local is ok as long as you are certain it's not distributed there.

And at least one Minnesotan...

Current weather report as of 11:15 AM:

Temperature: -11F
Windchill: -24F
Projected HIGH today: A balmy -3F

Monday's forecasted high: -5

Yeah, it's nice up here in God's Country, I know you're all jealous! :drunk:

I don't know how often these shipping companies leave packages in trucks and trailers, but man, I'm considering waiting until Monday to ship so it doesn't sit over the weekend here, and keeps moving along it's intended route.

I'd recommend it since TheMan just said it was all good. Waiting for beer > busted beer.

Well according to seekabrew it isnt. I also asked another member from the are who said it rarely is seen there and hard to find when it is.

It looks like my package is out for delivery today. I hope it doesn't freeze, it's 18 degrees there right now.

My package has landed!

Left At:
Carport

It is about 30 there now so hopefully it makes it inside!

Hope it's me! I have a carport and It's 30 here. Luckily I'll be home in about 30 minutes so if it's mine it won't be out side to long.

I'm with you, man. I don't know about FedEx, but I know UPS doesn't do a sort on Saturday and Sunday, so that means the packages are just sitting, somewhere. If they were on a trailer, they sit in a trailer. I think I'm going to wait til Monday as well so at least I know the package will be in constant motion.

With over 300oz coming to him, I think he should be ok waiting a few extra days, amirite?

Everything looks so good! My parents went to Chicago last summer to visit family and I sent a beer list with them. They weren't able to find any FFF, Solemn Oath was only available in growlers from the brewery, and the only Pipeworks they found was a bottle on Nija vs Unicorn and that's because they showed up at Binny's right after the delivery truck got there and they hadn't put it out yet. Needless to say I'm very excited to try all of these. Thanks so much!

Solemn oath just started bottling that and one other a few weeks ago! I love that pipeworks stuff and am a big spiteful man. One of their brewers was with pipeworks for a while. Love that Chatty Cathy with the el dorado hops. Enjoy!

Should I ship or not? I live in the Philly area and it is cold as hell here now. The highest it is getting in the next 5 days is 33 degrees with several lows in the single digits. I've had beers shipped to me arrive frozen and leaky. Don't want to make my recipient wait, nor have to get a leaked beer. Not sure what to do.

As I said before --> late beer > busted beer.

If you're in the New England area I think I speak for everyone when I say WAIT!!! Lol :mug:

PS - stay warm up there, folks!

I'm shipping off to the east coast. Probably would arrive late next week. How's the temp looking then? Send it tomorrow or wait?

It's cold as a bitch in my neck of the woods. I'd gladly wait for warmer temps if my partner hasn't shipped yet. I'd like to know it's delayed though, just so I stop watching my porch daily. :p

Just my two cents.

I hadn't heard of Spiteful before so I'm also glad to get those. I love a good IPA.

Spiteful makes great stuff! Especially IPAs. The Sonorous from pipeworks was totally mismarketed by calling it a summer style. It's a big tropical hop forward imperial style pale ale. Drink it sooner than later.

That sounds right up my alley. I'll have to crack it open first.
