Good Sunday morning!
Yes warmer weather today, and should be a great day for the National Championship celebration down at the Shoe today. Had we not been passing this bug around the house I would head down and take in scene (it is a very easy bike ride from the house).
That being said probably staying home all day and hanging with the sick kiddo, and the other 2 ticking time bombs. 1 likely is to not start "expressing" symptoms until about 1am (never fails), so going hope to get in bed early just in case.

Got new tires in for the SxS and tried to change them out yesterday. First tire was too cold to break down with my cheesy Harbor Freight tire gizmo, so I just aired it back up and put it back on. I guess I'm gonna have to wait until it gets warm enough to lay them in the sun a while. Probably April at this rate. I'm trying to avoid paying somebody to swap them but that option is smirking at me right now. Never find anyone to do it today. Looks like a job for next weekend. Just dosed the coffee with Bailey's and settling in for full-on butt-scratch-and-yawn mode. Might burn some stuff later if the wind stays down. Looking at old bikes for sale on FB Marketplace. May pick up an old 2-stroke project. Nothing goes with a homebrew like checking for spark and listening to music. Wife is walking the treadmill behind me... hope she can't read this. She's not a big fan of dismantled bikes.

Nice lazy day here. Cool morning and warming to 70 degrees, perfect! My wife made the batter and I cooked blueberry pancakes and bacon on the outdoor griddle, with hot coffee (hazelnut was the choice today). The birds were having a ball taking their turn at the bird feeder. I have a nice variety of birds in my yard. Cardinals, Blue Jays, Two types of Woodpeckers, Tufted Titmouse, Finches, Blue Birds, and today the anual Robin Red Breast arrived here in huge numbers from up North eating bugs and grubs on the lawn. I finished cleaning my fermentor which was soaking with PBW and I will hang out and watch football today. Nice day!

Having coffee, watching This Week on ABC, ready to prepare a German breakfast for bunch- eggs, Weisswurst, mit pretzels and a small glass of weissbier. Spring is everywhere here on Long Island, ospreys are back refurbishing their nests, many trees and flowers are blooming. The renewal is palpable and up lifting. I hope your day and week are great.

My Sunday morning. Landed in Paris, fought sleep for 4 hours until our train left the airport. Arrived home, drank wine with my BIL, and ate blood sausage, garlic sausage and cheese. A perfect homecoming.

Ikea delivered the boy's new beds (all 3 of them).
I started the play list with Chris Connell's rendition of 'Patience' to temper my ambition. Pandora piled on following it with 'fall to pieces' (velvet revolver) and 'keep away' (godsmack). That sums it up pretty f'n well...
Yep it is going to be that morning.

It's Sunday afternoon here. It's the first sunny and warm day in almost 3 weeks so it's been an outdoor day. I pulled another bucket full of weeds from our 2 flower gardens we created basically from scratch last year. Then there was lunch: a ham sandwich with St. Nectaire cheese, and a delicious artichoke. I trimmed the lavender and rosemary plants back, did the weedwhacking, mowing, and transplanted a peach tree to the back yard. Now I'm sitting on the terrace sipping a cool La Goudale .

It is a fabric but very hard. Lucky my club has a nice site and the folks are friendly.

I’m a musician and music teacher, and Sundays often include doing church music. Last Sunday being Easter, I played all morning in 4 services. No playing today, but first thing this morning was composing music for my high school’s marching band field show in the fall, before heading to church. Then a belated birthday lunch of my favorite local Indian place, and then back to more composing.

In Carlsbad NM my best friend has a large collection of airplanes, both remote controlled and string control. A few years ago he bought a replacement motor off the internet that had been originally bought in 1967 or 68 by a US soldier stationed in Vietnam and had never been taken out of the box-the receipt was still folded up in the box.
