Using a 5# CO2 tank just to dispense... you can get up to 30+.
Using a 5# CO2 tank to carbonate AND dispense.... you can get 15+

7-10 but I don't think I have ever had one last that long, between using it for cleaning, purging, and carbing, not to mention leaky connections!

Trick question?
You are giving away a 15lb and say to visit the page for a 15lb tank , but are asking how long a 5lb will last.

5lb tank will give you 8 to 10 five gallon Corny Kegs once it is filled.
15lb will be 20 to 30

I am in! I've only emptied a single cylinder so far (and it was used, partially filled), so I have NO idea how many kegs I'd get out of one. I could definitely use another, though!

One!

The story goes, my friends son thought it was cool to pull the tap handle and watch 4 gallons of beer pour on the floor and all the CO2 blow out the tap!

OK, 7 to 10.

How many 5-gallon corny kegs do you normally dispense with a 5-pound CO2 cylinder?
I think the answer should be 7 to 10 kegs.

My friend ChatGPT said:
"The number of 5-gallon corny kegs that can be dispensed with a 5-pound CO2 cylinder depends on several factors, including the pressure at which the CO2 is dispensed, the temperature of the beer in the kegs, and the efficiency of the CO2 system. Typically, a 5-pound CO2 cylinder contains around 5 pounds (or 80 ounces) of CO2 when filled. To estimate the number of kegs that can be dispensed, we need to know the CO2 consumption rate for each keg. This can vary based on the factors mentioned earlier, but a common estimate is that a 5-pound CO2 cylinder can dispense approximately 4 to 7 kegs. If we assume an average consumption rate of 5 kegs per 5-pound CO2 cylinder, keep in mind that this is just a general estimate, and the actual number of kegs dispensed may vary depending on the factors mentioned earlier and how the system is set up. It's always a good idea to monitor your CO2 levels and have spare cylinders on hand, especially for commercial or large-scale applications where consistency and uninterrupted service are essential."

Six or seven, but I force carbonate alot of soda.

Site says 15lb cylendar will do 20-30 5gal kegs, so the 8-10 for a 5lb.
Reality for me is in that 6-7 as I force carb and use to prep kegs.. Thanks

15lb of CO2 is 20-30 kegs per your description, so I'd say if it is 1/3 the size it would be about 8 kegs and it will run out at the worst time possible.

So my answer is 8.

If not force carbing, I would usually get about 10-12 with my 5lb tank. With force carbing, about 5-7.

My guess is around 9 or 10 if I don't have any stupid leaks and don't also use it for force carbonation.....can't say I've ever really kept track but am just glad it isn't empty on Friday evening of a Holiday weekend!

I didn't notice until clicking the link this is for a FIFTEEN lb cylinder. Not a 5lb. But you asked about a 5lb in your question @HBT_Admin - therefore, 8-10 is my answer to you. But my winning this giveaway will allow me to get 20-30 with that 15 pounder!

if you are force carbonating every keg then i would say 6-8, I try spunding and purging all my brews and kegs so it is closer to final pressure. my last fill lasted for 12 kegs.
