I made an apple cinnamon ale. 4 gallons apple juice, 1 gallon water + LME, SS-04 ale yeast. I'm gonna rack it to a secondary to add cinnamon sticks. I'm incredibly new to all of this and I was just curious about carbonating it. It won't be going into a keg for a few weeks, yet, just curious.

Thanks.

Ciders are listed as 1.0 to 3.5, so there's a lot of room for personal choice. I would shoot for the middle, maybe 2.3 or so.

The beauty of the keg is - carbonate on the low end, taste and adjust as you desire!

I'm a fan of slightly lower carbonation levels. I'd go for 2.1, 2.2, somewhere in there. But cider can be really nice slightly higher as well 2.5, 2.6.

Have fun with it.
