According to Brew Pal for my 5 gal batch of 15A Weizen/Weissbier I need 6.8-9.1 oz of priming corn sugar but Beer Smith says I need only 4.2 oz. Both were calculated at 70 degrees. Wondering which one is right.

Well, weizens are more highly carbonated than some other beers, so if you want to be true to style, you can use more sugar. But I think 9 ounces would give you bottle bombs!

I'd use 5 ounces for 5 gallons, even if the beer is a bit less carbonated than the style would normally be, because excessive foam isn't enjoyable and neither are bottle bombs!
