I’m new to distilling. So I started a sugar wash made with corn sugar 6 days ago.5 gal of distilled water 5#corn sugar I added extra fleischmanns yeast to get it started good. It started off great it was bubbling and looking pretty scary on top. Today the froth just disappeared but it is still bubbling. My question is is that normal for the froth to disappear and how long should it normally take to ferment

With the right nutrients it should ferment dry in about 4 or 5 days.
Provided ferment temp is right also.
I use 250 grams of wheat bran and 4 kg sugar. 50 gram bread yeast in starter and its done every 3 days maybe 4. This is a recipe developed by a pro so I use it exclusively.
I got guys who don't like vodka licking it up.
Don't forget to simmer the wheat bran for 30 min first.
