Substitute for flaked wheat

My LHBS doesn't carry flaked wheat. what can i do to Substitute ?

I used 1/2 white wheat and 1/2 unmalted or torrified wheat.

It worked out fine for a blue moon clone, but I'd wait on someone with more experience.

Do you have any Indian grocery stores or hippie markets around? I've found all kinds of wheat and oat products in Indian groceries.

can i use unmalted wheat?

Flaked wheat isn't malted, just pre-gelatinized. You can use cracked wheat, but cook it for 30 minutes before mashing.
