ok i learned my lesson when it comes to buying bottle conditioned beers (namely, dont let them bag the beer, or theyll do make it do loopy-loops and what not)
so i found a store that actually keeps their chimay in a fridge. I picked out the least dusty one i could find, it had a nice compacted yeast slurry on the bottom, that was very easily disturbed. (much more then my homebrews are for whatever reason). Any-whoo i bring it to the register and i show the beer to the checker and say, "i dont need a bag, just scan it please", so she tries to grab the beer from my hand, and we do a min tug-of-war untill finally she annoyingly says, "can i at least scan it!". I let go and she puts it on its side, and of course, it doesnt scan right away and she passes it back and forth like 3 times before it scans.
To save a little face i show her the yeast, that by now is scattered throughout the beer, and i say, "see all the yeast, thats why i dont want it bagged" and she just looks at the beer and says, "i dont know what THAT is"
