stuff floating in my fermenter

ok so it's day 12 of fermentation, i just racked to secondary and there is still what looks to be hop debris floating on top of the beer, will this settle out? yes it was there before i racked over.
 
It should settle out and it will once you're done and cold crash. Why the secondary though? Just seems a little unnecessary unless you're adding fruit, oak, vanilla beans, etc...

Properties of gravity and buoyancy do not change just because the beer moved into a new container :)

Cold crashing and/or more time should do the trick.

no way to cold crash so i'm trying to clear as much as possible
 
Well then let it sit. When you think it's been there long enough let it sit a few more days haha hope it turns out well and a cloudy beer is good too!
