Stuck tubing?

After bottling a batch the other day, I went to disassemble my racking cane, bottling wand and 1/2" tubing, but they're all stuck together! I must have pushed them too far into one another. Anyone have this problem? How did you fix it? I've tried brute force and some hot water. Is it okay to leave it like this, or is the risk of bacteria build up too great?

I have had this happen a few times. Some quick exacto knife work takes care of it

Haha... I didn't even think about cutting the tubing. Thanks for the advice.
