Hi I'm hoping somebody here can help me! This is my first time brewing anything so bear with me.

Basically I got bought everything I need to brew cider and am using a magnum pear cider kit, followed everything in the instructions and the first 3 days were going great with loads of activity. I was elsewhere in the country over the last week so didnt get a chance to see what it had been up to but when I came back its completely still with no activity, it's reading is 1010 on my hydrometer and taste like a very very week cider, is there a way to sort it out? Or is It just fermenting really slowly?

Stupidly I started it before I went out and bought a hydrometer but after reading different forums about ppl using the same magnum kit theirs tends to be at 1045 on average? Also Forgot to mention ther is hardly any sediment at the bottom.
