Stuck on 1030 !!!

Hi all . I got a problem , my Pale Ale SG 1052 now stuck on 1030 for 5 days already . Need it to finnish about 1013 . Been fermenting all for 17days now. Should i leave it for longer or should i bottle it over the weekend or dump the batch ?

How are you taking the reading? Hydrometer or Refractometer? If using a Refractometer you need to use a formula to get the actual specific gravity once fermentation has started.

When I had this same problem a while ago, I felt that I had under-pitched the yeast, or the yeast was old and/or weak.

recipe? extract or all-grain? what yeast, what condition was it in and how did you prepare it if at all? oxygenation? temps? nutrients?
