what do you do when your fermentation is stuck weeks early?...I broke and re-ordered a hydrometer so I don't know the SG but its only been a few days and the airlock releases a bubble every every couple of minutes...seems very slow.

I am assuming if its not stuck yet it will be soon....any cures or actions to take if I confirm that it is stuck?

It shouldn't take much more than 3-4 days to ferment the sugars, not weeks...so if it was a moderate to low gravity beer it should be slowing up after a few days. You should be able to ballpark the OG based off the recipe and when you get a new hydrometer take a reading and see if it is where you were at. In the meantime if it has been a couple of days, as in two, since you pitched the yeast and you actaully are going to have a stuck fermentation you can gently swirl the carboy/bucket to get the yeast resuspended as well you start ramping the temp up to the low 70's to to push them to maximum attenuation.
