I have made 3 seperate cold brews with different beans. They all have varying degress of ash flavor....the first one I actually looked twice to see if there was a cigarette butt in my glass! If you have a good cold brew bean, please let me know! (I am doing research for a cafe that is putting it on nitro).
-All beans ground within minutes of putting it in carbon filtered water.
-all brews were tried with different amounts of water (no creamer or sugar).
-the best that I have gotten so far was "drinkable".
beans used:
-Carytown coffee breakfast blend
-Rostov's Peru Organic (makes great espresso)
-Rostov's Bourbon Santos
