Hello guys.

I have been using a DYI stirring box for sometime now. I was not able to find a rheostat that could control the current flow from zero to X amount. Meaning: when I turn "ON" the switch, I can hardly control the fan. I was able to handle that until know. (I used a 6.5 V cell phone charger for power).

I made a 2L yeast starter last week and it turned out that at maximum speed, the magnetic stirrer stopped due to the viscosity of the mixture. I replaced the 6.5 V for a 12V charger and there was enough juice, but now I cannot control the magnetic stirrer cuz of the lack of control in fan angular speed.

Can anyone recommend a rheostat that can control to the 12V charger current?

Thanks, Nil :mug:
