I'm setting up my March pump/plate chiller in a toolbox and in order to do this I need to put street elbows on the chiller facing a specific way with camlock fittings on them. The threads don't get completely tight in that direction and I cannot make it turn once more to face the correct direction.
Am I screwed? No pun intended. Would enough teflon tape enable me to tighten it as far as I can while still facing correctly and get a leak free seal? Or am I limited by when the fittings are considered tight on the chiller?
How would you guys accomplish this?
