So I brewed up an Irish Red on Saturday and it went very well. Hit my mash temp within 2 F, got 75% efficiency (record), very good hot break (had to station a continuous boil over watch to operate the fan), but once the wort was almost chilled down to pitching temp I noticed clumps of junk in my wort. My first thought was that it was just a really good cold break, but I have never seen a cold break like that before. Has anyone ever seen a cold break like this (pics below) before?
Thanks.
