Stout-nog

So I know the idea of a stout with lactose and egg nog spices has been thrown around before. However, I just finished up a brew session with a friend who works for Wawa, and he has quite a few containers of egg nog in his fridge. We decided to get a little crazy, and mixed the egg nog with a stout we'd brewed a while back. While it looked kind of gross (the egg nog seems to have coagulated a little bit), it tasted pretty delicious. Kind of like a milk stout with a bit of egg nog flavor. Horray for doing out of the ordinary things with your beer.

Of course it coagulated. Milk curdles in acidic environments, and since beer is pH 4.5 or so, that qualifies. You just ate curds and beer whey.
