as noted, these guys fit in freezer/cooler so rigging glycol isnt necessary. half batches no problem in that setup as no worries about chilling coil reaching wort.

will be available in early march. good condition. buying an entire lot, will have likely 2 or maybe 3 available. our cost plus share of shipping. $900.

Per Stout "We put a side 3” TC port on the fermenter so you can put a spray ball in the side of the fermenter while it is still in the freezer. This saves your back by not having to put the fermenter in and take it out frequently."

they seem to really gear these for being a cheaper alternative to glycol cooling. so i assume they made the changes to maximize functionality in the freezer. honestly, they're really not heavy so i think thats a bit of a stretch but yes, you would be able to easily cip in the freezer. for the time and effort involved, i'd just pull it out and use one of those long handled brushes with soft bristles. hell, even a carboy cleaner would be fine. its not huge by any means. seems like overkill to me. but some guys just want those bells and whistles...
